About
About WomensHealthGuide
WomensHealthGuide is a collection of plain-language guides on health questions people search for when they want clearer information about cycles, fertility, pregnancy, menopause and emotional wellbeing. The site is small and still growing, and each category currently holds only a few guides.
The site is a research-based reference: the guides summarize what published guidance says and are not first-hand medical experience. Read how we check our information.
Each article starts from a specific question, such as what early pregnancy symptoms are common or when heavy periods are worth discussing with a doctor, and answers it first before adding detail and context.
What you will find here
- Hormones for cycle changes and everyday hormone-related symptoms.
- Fertility for cycle tracking and timing questions.
- Pregnancy for common early symptoms and body changes.
- Menopause for what the transition can involve.
- Mental health for stress, mood and emotional wellbeing.
If you are not sure where to begin, start here.
How to read the guides
The guides are general educational information, not medical advice, and they cannot diagnose or treat anything. Symptoms and experiences differ from person to person, so use the articles to understand the topic and to prepare questions, then talk to a qualified clinician about your own situation. If you have severe symptoms or think you may be having an emergency, call local emergency services (911 in the US). If you are in a mental-health crisis in the US, call or text 988.
